Module 2: System Architecture & Core Components
  • Topology: AC-coupled retrofit storage with existing string inverters to optimize CAPEX/OPEX.
  • M-Combiner Pro: Single-phase (≤10 kW) and three-phase (≤30 kW) setups with <10 ms transfer times.
  • M-ELV Battery: <30 Vdc Extra-Low Voltage architecture (7 kWh capacity, 12,000 lifecycles).
  • Peripherals: WiFi-Mesh 3rd-party microinverters, M-Gateway, and integrated EV Charger.
Module 3: Mechanical Installation & Mounting
  • Switchboards: Single-phase (MC100PRO-S1P) and three-phase (MC100PRO-T3P) enclosure mounting.
  • Wall Mounting: Structural layout, anchor drilling, and slide-rail installation torqued to 9–14 N·m.
  • Floor Stacking: Side-by-Side and Front-to-Back multi-cabinet configurations using extension plates.
Module 4: Electrical & Communication Wiring
  • AC Power: Single-phase bridging via OEM Plug-in Bridge; 2.5 to 16 mm² conductor limits.
  • CAN Bus: Wiring layouts for CAN-H, CAN-L, GND, and localized inter-battery DRAIN cabling.
  • Termination: End-of-line 120 Ω resistor placement and dual parallel loops for large stacks (≥6 batteries).
  • Optimisation: Whole-Home vs. Partial-Home backup wiring; keeping 3rd-party PV ratios ≤2:1.
Module 5: Gateway Interfacing & Telemetry
  • MG100 Interface: Dual CT paths for PV/Battery monitoring, Digital I/O loops, and RS485 channels.
  • Compliance: Wiring standards for Australian DRM (Demand Response Mode) integration.
  • Grid CT Rules: Extending CAT6 up to 75m, arrow orientation, and re-positioning at the primary entry point.
Module 6: Commissioning & Optimisation
  • App Provisioning: Bluetooth pairing, cloud validation, auto-discovery, and AS/NZS 4777.2 grid profiles.
  • Strategies: Self-Powered optimisation, TOU schedules, Storm Guard, and SOC discharge thresholds.
  • Phase Balancing: Programming autonomous, multi-phase management to control per-phase flow.
Handover: OTA firmware updates, automated system self-checks, and client training.
